Brentwood Park is, as its name implies (and as developed), a park-like suburb in Brentwood, California. Its boundaries are between Cliffwood Avenue (north and south of Sunset Blvd. (on the east), to Rockingham Avenue, north and south of Sunset Blvd. (on the west).

There are a few lovely, streets adjacent to Brentwood Park that have the same stately appeal, and whose properties fetch luxury prices. A property in the 300 block of north Carmelina Avenue recently sold for over $13Mil. Oakmont Drive may not be part of Brentwood Park proper, but its cache and prestige are equal.

Developed ca. 1906, Brentwood Park was initially heralded to be a subdivision where "everything that savors of a formal city street effect will be avoided and cement curbs and walks will be conspicuously absent." Eventually incorporated as a subdivision in the city of Los Angeles, curbs and gutters were installed. However, as in the Palisades Riviera, Brentwood Park has no sidewalks. The stately, old growth trees are the hallmark of the area. In fact, it was due to placement of the trees when the tract was developed, that no sidewalks were installed.

Lot sizes average 20,000 – 30,000 Sq. Ft. The *rim* side of Rockingham Avenue (western exposure) has the most coveted views.
