Westwood has three highly regarded public elementary schools in Warner Ave. Elementary, Fairburn Elementary (just south of Wilshire) and UES (University Elementary School (adjacent to UCLA). Westwood's Wilshire high-rise complexes include both commercial (a financial hub) and some 25 residential full-service condominium complexes known as the Wilshire Corridor, which begins about 3 blocks east of Westwood Blvd and continues east, to Comstock Avenue.
